  • Our single and double Kayaks are designed for stability. Nearly all capsizes are a result of water fights, overloading, excessing leaning, and sudden movements.

It's important to note that sit-on-top kayaks are generally considered more stable and less prone to capsizing compared to sit-inside kayaks.

Nonetheless, practicing safe kayaking techniques, wearing appropriate safety gear, and being mindful of weather and water conditions are essential to minimizing risks on the water.

  • We love our furry friends, but for safety reasons pets are not allowed to ride our kayaks.

Lake Piru allows pets with some restrictions. Pets must be licensed, leashed, and cannot be left unattended. They are also not permitted in the lake itself. Lake Piru has a "Pet" fee, and the general rules for pets also apply.
