Cell phone service at Lake Piru, CA, can be very limited depending on your carrier and location within the area. While some areas around the lake and the surrounding Los Padres National Forest may have decent reception, other more remote spots could have little to no signal, particularly as you venture further into the natural areas of the lake.
Overall, AT&T tends to have coverage in this area, while other carriers may struggle with signal strength.
Wi-Fi is available for purchase, for details contact a park ranger or inquire at the entry kiosk.

We love our furry friends, but for safety reasons pets are not allowed to ride our kayaks.

Our single and double Kayaks are designed for stability. Nearly all capsizes are a result of water fights, overloading, excessing leaning, and sudden movements.
It's important to note that sit-on-top kayaks are generally considered more stable and less prone to capsizing compared to sit-inside kayaks.
Nonetheless, practicing safe kayaking techniques, wearing appropriate safety gear, and being mindful of weather and water conditions are essential to minimizing risks on the water.
-
We offer flexible kayak rental times with a minimum reservation of 1 hour. There is no maximum time limit, as long as your rental fits within our daily hours of operation.
If you plan to explore the lake, we highly recommend booking at least 2 hours or more. When Lake Piru is at full capacity, there are many more areas, coves, and scenic spots to discover.
A 1-hour reservation may limit how far you can explore and may not allow enough time to fully enjoy the lake. Please keep in mind that late fees may apply if equipment is not returned on time, so plan your rental time accordingly.
